Scientific Professional Cat Litter with

The less acidic a cats urine, the more susceptible
it is to forming stones or crystals in the urinary tract. The
most common type of crystals present in the urine are struvites, which form

changes to varying shades of pale pink to magenta when the pH in a cat’s

are evident, observe your cat for 1-2 days.
If colour persists or is in the Serious to
Urgent range, or if your cat shows other signs of urinary tract infection,

Professional with the current litter in a blend of 2 parts of your regular
litter to 1 part Scientific Professional. (Be patient with older cats as they

Whilst I am not normally a fan of clumping
litters, the vast majority containing bentonite, which is toxic to cats
and also clogs up household plumbing, Scientific Professional cat litter
has no bentonite at all and can actually be flushed down the toilet. It
is as eco friendly as the paper based Breeders Celect or the wood pulp
based Pinefresh cat litters, both of which are excellent.
The new technology does make Scientific Professional
cat litter a more expensive option but this can be mitigated by using either
of the other cheaper and efficient litters as the regular litter and, for
a few days each month, using the Scientific Professional cat litter to check
on the health status of your cat.

but its litter can.
