Welcome to 2004

Inside this issue:

The New Year is now well upon us. As stated in the December newsletter, ever refining new technology means continual supply of the latest product lines to our shores.

2003 saw the major launches of Marbocyl and Liver X, both of which are huge successes.

The December/January period saw the introduction of VCA lines such as endo-tubes and giving sets, both adapted particularly to the veterinary market rather than being less suitable human medicine products. 2004 will similar, with 3 exciting product launches planned for various stages of the year.

First up is the launch of Greenies® , the revolutionary new product for cats and dogs that is sweeping the USA.

When assessing competition for Greenies® , pet toothbrushes , digestive aids, breath fresheners, treats and chewing aids all come to mind, for the simple reasons that Greenies® represents each and all of these things so that competition could be all but in fact is none of them.

Greenies® is a unique product and its various indications are depicted by the shape of each one; being a toothbrush shape, having the end away from the brush moulded like the end of a bone.

The green colour is from the chlorophyll which freshens breath.

Importantly in days of BSE in USA no meat products are used in Greenies® .

Canine dentistry is a relatively new discipline but has tremendous importance. An alternative to brushing is now available that is rewarding to both owner and pet.

We’ve Gone Green

A notable change of colour for this issue.

When EA News first was produced in Microsoft Publisher form, in April 2000, the colour chosen was blue to represent the Veterinary Profession.

A few years later the

company changed hands from Geof Roberts to Greg Roberts and company livery was strongly adorned with the colour purple.

EA News also was then produced in purple, from its June 2002 edition on, to herald this change.

This month, for this edition only, the newsletter will be printed green as a sign of the importance placed on the launch of Greenies® .

It also represents the many environmentally friendly and animal welfare aware EA products.
