Letter to Santa

Inside this issue:

Dear Santa

We wish the debate over veterinary pharmacies would just go away .

Please also stop these political based audits of practices' prescribing habits.

Maybe you have to leave it all to the politicians and bureaucrats so what would be something plausible to wish for?

How about giving sets designed for veterinary use rather than human hospitals?

Can a giving set have an extra injection port further along the tube so that it can be taped to an animals leg and still have the port exposed?

What about a port near the bottle so that an animal in a cage need not be disturbed by the nurse for addition of medication?

Surely this would be a huge advantage when a grumpy Rottweiller is frightened and in some pain

No risk to nursing staff and OSH would be delighted!

How about veterinary designed endo-tubes with less curvature for easier administration, and, while you are about it, can it be made reusable with a stronger cuff?

On the subject of the cuff surely it is possible to have a better fitting one that seals off the trachea more quickly.

Finally clear plastic end couplings will allow more easy monitoring of air flow.

Merry Xmas

Dear Vet Profession

I can’t arrange the politics in time for Christmas but the rest I certainly can.

I have arranged a liaison between EA and a leading veterinary wholesaler in Australia so they can draw off the large Australian buying orders and so deliver better quality vet giving sets and endo-tubes at a better price than vets are paying currently for human products.

Merry Christmas

Santa
