Active Ingredient:

100 g/L Fipronil

To treat, prevent and control infestations of fleas on dogs and puppies over 8 weeks of age and 2kg. Fipnil Dog is safe to use on breeding, pregnant or lactating bitches.

Treat and controls Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD) via flea control. Fipnil Dog eliminates fleas thus breaking the FAD cycle. Animals with severe FAD may require additional treatment. For regular treatment and control of FAD, apply to the affected dog or puppy, monthly. Make sure that you also treat other cats and dogs in the household to ensure that the fleas are under control.

Fipnil Dog is active against fleas for at least 2 months on dogs and repeat treatment is recommended at 2 monthly intervals. In times of high flea infestation or in the treatment and control of FAD, a monthly application is recommended.

Fipnil Dog can be used to treat dogs shortly after bathing and shampooing. Fipnil Dog will be water fast within 24 hours following the application, however, bathing or shampooing is not recommended within 48 hours of treatment.

Contra-indications & Precautions:

To be used only for the treatment of animals.

Do not use on dogs and puppies less than 2 months old and/or weighing less than 2kg.

Do not use on sick or convalescent animals.

Do not use on rabbits as adverse reactions and even death can occur.

It is important to make sure that the product is applied to an area where the animal cannot lick it off, and to make sure that animals do not lick each other following treatment. If licking occurs a brief period of hyper salivation may be observed.

Directions for use:

By law the user must take due care, obtaining expert advice when necessary, to avoid unnecessary pain or distress when using the product other than as directed.

Use one pipette per dog. Hold the pipette upright. Tap the narrow part of the pipette to ensure that the contents are within the main body of the pipette. Twist and pull the snap off the top of the pipette to enable the contents to be expelled. Part the pet’s coat until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the pipette directly against the bare skin and squeeze gently to empty its contents at two points along the dog’s back, preferably at the base of the head, and between the shoulder blades, emptying approximately half of the volume at each site. Squeeze the pipette several times to ensure that the dosing is complete. Hairs at the site of application may appear oily for up to 24 hours following the treatment.
